Privacy Policy — DealDesk CRE

DealDesk CRE is a commercial real estate lease and commission calculator for iPhone, made by Kingsmen Management Inc. (Vaughan, Ontario, Canada), trading as Sivak.io.
This policy is provided in keeping with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law, as well as Apple's App Store requirements.
Information We Collect
We collect no personal information. None.
DealDesk CRE does not ask for, gather, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or any other personal data. The app has no account system and no login.
The lease details you enter — square footage, net rent, term, escalations, free-rent months, TMI/additional rent, commission splits, payment schedules, deal names, and colour tags — are data you create and keep. They are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
How Data Is Stored
All deals and settings you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). Your data does not leave your device unless you take an explicit action to share it.
App preferences (such as your default settings and appearance choices) are stored on your device using the system settings store (UserDefaults). This is the only required-reason API the app uses, and it is declared in the app's privacy manifest. A small summary of your year-to-date progress is also stored on-device in a shared app group so the home-screen widget can display it; this never leaves your device.
This version of DealDesk CRE does not sync your deals to iCloud; your data remains on the single device where you created it. If a future version introduces optional iCloud sync, your deals would sync only through your own private iCloud account, governed by Apple's iCloud terms, and we would never have access to it. This policy will be updated before any such feature is enabled.
Sharing is initiated only by you. When you use the app's export features (branded PDF, commission invoice, or shareable image), the file is created on your device and handed to Apple's standard share sheet so you decide where it goes. DealDesk CRE does not transmit these exports anywhere on its own.
Notifications
DealDesk CRE can schedule optional reminders on your device — for upcoming lease expiries and for commission instalments you are still owed. These are local notifications, scheduled and delivered entirely by your own iPhone. No reminder data is sent to us or to any server, and you can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Subscriptions
DealDesk CRE offers an optional paid subscription (DealDesk Pro). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. The app checks your subscription status on-device through Apple's StoreKit; that check does not identify you to us.
Third Parties
DealDesk CRE contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs), no analytics services, no advertising networks, and no trackers.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties, because we do not collect any information to begin with. The only outside party that may ever touch your data is Apple — through App Store purchase processing, and through your own private iCloud if a future version offers it and you choose to use it, under Apple's own terms.
Children's Privacy
DealDesk CRE is a professional tool intended for commercial real estate brokers and agents. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the app collects no personal data at all, no personal information from children is ever gathered or stored.
Your Rights
Because DealDesk CRE keeps all of your data on your own device, you are always in full control of it.
- Access and review: All your deals are visible in the app at any time.
- Edit or correct: You can change any deal or setting directly in the app.
- Delete: You can delete any deal within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes its on-device data.
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access and correct personal information an organization holds about you. There is no such information to request, correct, or delete, because we never receive any.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new app features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here at the policy's URL. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
